Cambridge IGCSE Maths 0580 past papers
Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics (0580) specimen papers, past papers and mark schemes, each linked straight to Cambridge's own website. We never host them.
Our practice follows Edexcel 4MA1, not 0580. The two syllabuses overlap heavily, so after a paper you can practise the same topics here (see below), and our Cambridge 0580 revision notes cover every 0580 sub-topic, Core and Extended. Papers are © the exam board; we link to the official copies.

Questions students ask
Are 0580 past papers free?
Cambridge publishes a selection of past papers and the specimen papers free on its 0580 past papers page (opens in a new tab). The full archive is on the School Support Hub, which your school can access. Copies on other websites are not published by Cambridge.
What are the 0580 papers from 2025?
Four papers: Paper 1 Non-calculator (Core, 1 h 30 min, 80 marks), Paper 2 Non-calculator (Extended, 2 h, 100 marks), Paper 3 Calculator (Core, 1 h 30 min, 80 marks) and Paper 4 Calculator (Extended, 2 h, 100 marks). Core candidates sit Papers 1 and 3; Extended candidates sit Papers 2 and 4.
What do the variant numbers (41, 42, 43) mean?
The second digit is the variant: Cambridge sets different versions of each paper for different time zones. Paper 42 is Paper 4, variant 2. All variants follow the same syllabus and format.
Do papers from before 2025 still help?
Yes, for practice: most of the content is the same. The paper format changed in 2025 (the current papers are in the table on this page, with Papers 1 and 2 non-calculator), so an older paper can have a different length, number of marks and calculator rule: check its front cover and time it to match.
Does this site teach Cambridge 0580?
Partly. There are free Cambridge 0580 revision notes for every 0580 sub-topic, Core and Extended, with worked examples. The practice questions follow Pearson Edexcel International GCSE Mathematics A (4MA1); the two syllabuses overlap heavily, so the topic practice below is useful for 0580, and the 0580 notes show which sub-topics differ.
Where are the 0580 grade thresholds?
Cambridge publishes them for every series on its grade threshold tables page (opens in a new tab). We link there rather than copy them.
