Formula sheet questions
Do you get a formula sheet in the IGCSE Maths exam?
Yes, a short one. The Edexcel 4MA1 Higher papers print a formulae page, and the Cambridge 0580 papers print a list of formulas (longer on Extended papers than on Core). Most formulas, such as Pythagoras, SOHCAHTOA and compound interest, are not given.
Which sheet do I need?
The 4MA1 sheet for Pearson Edexcel International GCSE Mathematics A (Higher tier); the 0580 sheet for Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics, Core or Extended.
What does Ext mean on the 0580 sheet?
Rows tagged Ext are Extended tier only (Papers 2 and 4). Core students can skip them.
Can I take these sheets into the exam?
No. Use the formulas printed on the question paper in the exam, and these sheets to revise.
Are the downloads free?
Yes. Every PDF is free to download and print, with no sign-up.
